Okay, I'm going to have to say that Hacchi (big pink vaizard) is mostly likely the VC of 4th Division under Unohana and that Mashiro (green-haired vaizard with the scarf) is the VC of 10th Division. I'm starting to think that Isshin is the Captain of 10th Divison. First off, the Mashiro one makes sense; she reminds me a lot of Rangiku and we all know Kubo's into parallels. Also, the big guy from 6th is most likely the patriarch of the Kuchiki clan.

Okay, so we start off with an up-close and personal view of Tobi's RIGHT eye. Kakashi stares at Tobi and sputters, "Sharingan?!"; I'll note here that Kakashi has Obito's eye on his LEFT. Then, we get six panels of the Konoha team with "Holy, mother---" going through their darling young minds. Before the Konoha nin can do anything, however, Tobi just flips and disappears into a speck of black nothingness, while Zetsu slips into the tree limb.

So Chapter 394 was a nice break from all the swords and kunai-waving of the past few chapters. Nice to see an end to the Uchiha fight (the end of which was LOVE). I found the comments about Itachi from Zetsu to be a little...odd. Raised far more questions than it answered.

Exciting news: Konoha's back, baby, and Shino...damn that was once crazy last panel. Shino raising his arms with the bug swarm was truly apocalyptic and gave me the shivers. Can't wait for the next chapter. Maybe next time I'll give a better commentary.

Too lazy at this point.

My predictions for next week's chapter and several chapters following are below. This is the first time I've ever done this, but I've decided what the heck, I'm going to make predictions for several chapters following the chapter that is released. I think I'll do this from now on. Somehow, it makes reading the manga really fun...not that it isn't already, of course...

I'm extraordinarily biased towards certain things (*cough*Kakashi*cough*and Sasuke*cough*) but I don't think my predictions are that way...

I was reading a few fics over the weekend, and a question suddenly came to me. Do ninjas DO the whole "marriage" thing? I mean, unless it's a "clan" thing like the Hyuugas or the Uchihas. Considering the mortality rate that so many of them seem to have, I sort of doubt that they do. I mean, Kurenai was pregnant but she and Asuma never married. Also, Minato and Kushina never married--I assume. So, maybe the parents just decide on a last name for their child--more often than not, deciding on the father's last name.

Anyways, I post here because I was reading a Sasusaku where Sakura got pregnant with Sasuke's child, but told everyone it as Sai's, and everyone freaked because they wouldn't get married. Jeez, big deal! Anyways, I think most ninjas don't formally marry, but seeing as Kishimoto-san never specified...

...a case that would never be upheld in a court of law: the parallels between Harry Potter and the Tale of Uzumaki Naruto. What do we have? We have a coming-of-age story set against the background of a beautiful landscape on the brink of war. We have tales of love and magic and bonds of friendship that transcend time. We have stories of two boys and a girl whose bonds of friendship lead them to...well, you get the idea. It's a long post, so if you're more than mildly interested, click away!

This also assumes one has a more-than-rudimentary knowledge of Harry Potter.

Please note, that this will likely undergo some revisions over the next few days, because I'd probably OCD over it and add some more things. (I'm also a grammar-freak unless I use improper grammar for emphasis. Please tell me if I've spelled something wrong. I do that often in haste XD)

BEWARE ! ! ! AHEAD THERE BE SPOILERS UP TO THE MOST RECENT CHAPTER ! ! !

"...abandon all hope, all ye who enter here..."

or at least, hope for non-spoilers...
